If you’re already licensed and you want to be a cosmetology, esthetics or nail tech instructor, this is the program for you. Our program is designed to prepare you for a career at a cosmetology, vocational, technical or proprietary school, sharing your talent with others and helping them with their own careers. This is your chance to inspire and help countless other people.

To Get Started, You’ll Need:

An active cosmetology/esthetic license
A completed and submitted application for enrollment in the school
A completed instructor-in-training application, to be forwarded to the State Board of Cosmetology/Esthetics

Become a Qualified Beauty Instructor

The Instructor program is designed to prepare currently licensed professionals to be able to instruct future professionals for the beauty industry. To increase the confidence and classroom management of the new instructor, the program is hands-on. 
The goal of the program is to prepare new instructors to be able to manage different classroom-related stress situations, to increase self-discipline, maintaining managing skills, work under timelines, perfect customer service, ability to deliver theory and practical demonstrations to all different learners, to create lesson plans, time management, and prepare the new instructor to be a good team player for the instructor’s staff in beauty schools.

Get Credit For Your Experience

If you have your cosmetology license and more than two years in the field, you could earn credits for up to half of the Cosmetology and Spa Academy instructor training program. Our program will prepare you to pass the state written exam in order to be issued an Instructor’s license.

They offer programs in cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, and instructor training, all with flexible scheduling to suit your needs. I attended cosmetology school there in 2007 and loved it so much that I returned to earn my teacher’s license. The supportive staff and the opportunity to work hands-on with students made such an impact on me that I stayed for over 10 years! If you’re considering a career in beauty, I can’t recommend the Cosmetology and Spa Academy enough—it’s where my journey began!

Hello, my name is Alejandro Segura Escobar. Thanks to Cosmetology and Spa Academy (CSA) that made possible all the dreams I had always dreamed of, and CSA continues to be the source of my progress until now. It all started in 2013 when I decided to take the Cosmetology degree at CSA and from there continue with the Master of Cosmetology Career; from here many doors have opened .. I became Ambassador of a large Color TIGI company then Ambassador of OLAPLEX, and Then Educator of Malibu C. Cosmetology and Spa Academy continues to be the support of my career as a Barber and Cosmetology teacher And with great pride now owner of Escobar Salón & Barbershop where many CSA students now do their Intership and become stylists and barbers and teachers like me In the same school where everyone started CSA.
